Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, this afternoon met with H.E. Kambara Norifumi, Deputy Minister for Disaster Management, Cabinet Office of Japan, on the sidelines of the 5th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Management (AMMDM) Plus Japan, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
They exchanged views on ways to further strengthen ASEAN–Japan cooperation on disaster management, including preparations for the development of the ASEAN-Japan Work Plan on Disaster Management 2026-2030.
