Phnom Penh, 25 October 2018: Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Minister Delegate Attached to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, briefed local media on the important outcomes of Samdech Techo PM’s historic official visit to (1) Brussels, the Kingdom of Belgium on 17-19 October 2018 that includes participation in the 12th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit, meeting with representatives of the EU-ASEAN Business Council, as well as bilateral meetings with H.E. Mrs. Federica Mogherini, Vice-President of the European Commission and High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, H.E. Li Keqiang, Premier of China, H.E. Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of Russia, H.E. Mrs. Ema Solberg, Prime Minister of Norway and meeting with Cambodian community of more than 1,000 people who are living in Europe. (2) Istanbul, the Republic of Turkey on 20-22 October 2018 that includes the historic working visit to the Republic of Turkey, participation in the Opening of Cambodia-Turkey Business Forum, as well as bilateral meetings with The Right Honourable Binali Yıldırım, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey and meeting with many Cambodian students pursuing their studies in Turkey. (3) Geneva, Switzerland on 22-24 October 2018 that includes participation in the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) 2018 World Investment Forum, speaking at the Global Leaders Investment Summit, as well as bilateral meetings with H.E. Francis Gurry, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization, H.E. Mrs. Arancha Gonzalez, Executive Director of the International Trade Centre (ITC), H.E. Roberto Azevêdo, Director-General of the World Trade Organization, H.E. Mrs. Michelle Bachelet, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, H.E. Mukhisa Kituyi, Secretary-General of the UNCTAD and meeting with Cambodian community of approximately 900 people who are living in Europe.
