Phnom Penh, 13 September 2018: Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Minister Delegate Attached to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, briefed local media on the fruitful outcomes of Samdech Techo PM’s official visit to (1) Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the People’s Republic of China on 10-12 September 2018 that includes participation in the 15th China-ASEAN Expo, Roundtable discussion with Chinese CEOs, as well as bilateral meetings with H.E. Han Zheng, Vice Premier of China, Mr. Wu Weitao, President and CEO of HUAWAI, Mr. Li Qian, Chairman of Guangxi Guhong Development Corporation, H.E. Lu Xinshe, Communist Party Secretary of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, meeting with some 229 Cambodian students pursuing their studies in Nanning, granting an interview to the Chinese media and presiding over the Inauguration of Cambodia’s National Pavilion, where Cambodiais the Country of Honor of the 15th China-ASEAN Expo this year. (2) Ha Noi, the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam on 12-13 September 2018 that includes participation in the 27th World Economic Forum on ASEAN, as well as bilateral meetings with H.E. Taro Kono, Foreign Minister of Japan, H.E. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister of Viet Nam, H.E. Ranil Wickremesinghe, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, H.E. Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Prime Minister of Lao PDR, Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum and had breakfast with the Prime Ministers of Lao PDR and Viet Nam.
