Phnom Penh, 23 January 2019: Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Minister Delegate Attached to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, briefed the media on the key outcomes of Samdech Techo PM’s official visit to Beijing, the People’s Republic of China, on 20-23 January 2019, that includes visit to the Exhibition to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of China’s reform and opening-up, presiding over the Cambodia-China Trade and Investment Promotion Forum, as well as the bilateral meetings with H.E. Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China, H.E. Li Keqiang, Premier of the People’s Republic of China,
H.E. Wang Yang, Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, H.E. Li Zhanshu, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, H.E. Song Tao, Minister of the International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China, H.E. Gu Xiulian, Chairwoman of Cambodia-China Friendship Association and some other chairmen of the Chinese companies. During this official visit, Samdech Techo PM also met with some 1,544 Cambodian students currently studying in China and encouraged them to study hard and bring back their knowledge to serve the country.
