The Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, delivered a briefing on the recent developments in ASEAN to the 11th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM-Plus) held in Vientiane, Lao PDR, this morning. Dr. Kao shared the key outcomes of the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits in held in Vientiane, Lao PDR, in October 2024 and alsoencouraged further alignment of the defence sector with the ASEAN Community building efforts in the context of the ASEAN Community Vision 2045.
