Discussed ways to strengthen existing collaboration through exchange of scholars, joint research in topics of regional interest and promoting institutional linkages. Briefed him about new initiatives under #NEP2020 and how India is creating Digital Public Infrastructure for delivery of education. NEP2020 also lays special emphasis on Indian Knowledge Systems and role of education in mother tongue. India’s relationship with ASEAN is a key pillar of our foreign policy. In line with the true spirit of India’s Act East Policy, called for deepening ASEAN-India relations in the field of education.
