At the funeral of my elder brother (Kao Sophalla) recently. He was one of the key founding members and Vice President of The University of Cambodia (UC). As a quiet, strong-willed and humble person, he was a man behind the scene who had made numerous contributions to the establishment and development of UC. A few days before his demise, he requested me that UC should continue to offer scholarships to the students every year in order to help contribute to human resource development in Cambodia. We will always remember him.
