I am indeed so proud of our young Cambodian students who have been enrolling in the E-learning classes, without having to wait for the normal physical classes to return. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic situation and the proactive public health measures that have been out by the Royal Government of Cambodia (under the wise leadership of Samdech Techo Prime Minister) through the Ministry of Health for the health safety and protection of everyone, E-learning is perhaps the best option for learning by our students. Our instructors have been making their best efforts to teach, motivate and inspire our students to study and to take advantages of the digital education in the current 4th Industrial Revolution.
Taking this opportunity, I wish to respectfully express my sincere gratitude to the Royal Government of Cambodia (especially Samdech Techo Prime Minister) and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (in particular Minister Dr. Hang Chuon Naron) for making a wise, important decision to allow all schools and universities to conduct online study to truly benefit our students during this challenging time. Since the very beginning, COVID-19 has been disrupting everything that we have known of, including the education sector. In March 2020, with the permission and approval from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, the E-learning program at our university was launched in order to support our students so that their study programs were able to continue, despite the impact of COVID-19. Please stay safe and well.
