Today is April 17

Today is April 17, an important historic day which every Cambodian and the world should always remember the genocide committed by the Khmer Rouge against their own people and humanity. We should never allow such a crime against humanity to take place again. On this historic day, I wish to express my deepest gratitude and most profound respect to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, for his great personal sacrifices for the country and for January 7, the day of national liberation!
