Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today held a bilateral meeting with The Honourable Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof, Minister of Foreign Affairs II of Brunei Darussalam, on the sidelines of the 25th ASEAN-EU Ministerial Meeting in Bandar Seri Begawan.
During the meeting, Dr. Kao expressed his appreciation to Brunei Darussalam for hosting this important meeting, especially in light of the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN–EU relations in 2027. They exchanged views on recent regional developments and discussed ASEAN’s priorities for the year, including preparations for the upcoming 48th ASEAN Summit in May 2026.
