Wed, 30 Dec 2020: The end of 2020 is approaching very fast, only after midnight tomorrow! 2020 has indeed been an incredible year of many great challenges, upheavals, turbulences, historic pandemic, and destructive impacts of climate change, among others. It also has been a year of reckoning, global reset, and deepening of digital revolution, among others. For Cambodia, despite the great challenges posed by COVID-19 pandemic and floods, among others, the country remain resilient and vibrant, thanks to a great leadership of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia. Cambodia has been ranking at the very top for its effective control, management and policy response to COVID-19 pandemic. This success truly reflects the able and strong leadership of Samdech Techo PM. Moreover, for the first time in the history of Cambodia, the country has now started its oil production (\u201cfirst drops of oil\u201d) on 28 Dec 2020. This is indeed a true miracle, after 22 years of putting into place of a win-win policy by Samdech Techo PM, which has brought about peace, stability and security to the country. Today, Cambodia and its people enjoy a real peace dividend, once again thanks to the true leadership of Samdech Techo PM.<\/div>\n
Looking ahead into 2021, there is a greater hope and optimism for a better tomorrow for Cambodia, for ASEAN, and for the world at large, if the entire international community can work together to combat COVID-19 pandemic with the new vaccines and with better cooperation in global public health as well as in other areas of cooperation for a better world of peace, health, green environment, and sustainable development.
