The 5th ASEAN Digital Ministers’ Meeting (ADGMIN) and Related Meetings with Dialogue Partners, including the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and Asia Pacific Telecommunity (APT) took place on 16-17 January in Bangkok, Thailand. Chaired by Thailand, the ADGMIN Chair for 2025, the meeting was attended by Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn. Under the theme “Secure, Innovative, Inclusive: Shaping ASEAN’s Digital Future,” the meeting focused on unlocking the potential of ASEAN Digital Economy. The discussion emphasised on the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) and the need for collaboration among policy makers, private sector and the community to shape a secure, innovative, and inclusive digital future for ASEAN.
