Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, received a farewell call from the Chief Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to ASEAN, Mr. Takehiro Yasui, at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat today. During the meeting, they discussed the implementation of the ASEAN-Japan Technical Cooperation Agreement (TCA) to enhance the ASEAN-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and strengthen development cooperation between ASEAN and Japan. During the course of the meeting, Ms. Sachiko Takeda, newly-appointed Chief Representative of JICA to ASEAN was also introduced. After the meeting, SG Dr. Kao joined JICA delegation for a brief visit to their office.
