In conjunction with the 7th Judging Committee Meeting for the ASEAN Prize, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, hosted lunch for his predecessors. As the current Chair of the ASEAN Prize Judging Committee, Dr. Kao expressed appreciation to the four former Secretaries-General of ASEAN for their unwavering commitment and continued support to the work of ASEAN. Their extensive experiences and expertise in representing regional perspectives have significantly contributed to the development of ASEAN. Dr. Kao particularly acknowledged their active roles in various regional engagements, especially in the selection of ASEAN’s premier regional award, which has not only promoted a robust regional identity, but also enhanced ASEAN Community building across the region.
